Annual Big Bear Cowboy
Poetry & Music Gathering - The centerpiece evening shows
will be headlined by Red Steagall and Dan Roberts, joined by a long
list of terrific performers and cowboy poets. The Saturday and
Sunday daytime events include a Mercantile and entertainment under
the pines, with activities for the whole family, plus food and
drink, workshops and, of course, Cowboy Church – and admission to
this daytime fun is free! Jack Terry’s painting, “Autumn at Big
Bear Lake,” perfectly represents the theme of this year’s Gathering,
showing the natural beauty of this special place in the forest in

Fourth
of July Parade in Julian, CA - Dubbed by some as “the
best small town July Fourth parade in America. ”Pre-parade activities
start at 10 a.m. Parade starts at noon on Main Street. In addition to
the parade, Julian’s July Fourth festivities include an extended
weekend–full of activities: the historic quilt show put on by the Julian
Women’s Club, a traditional deep-pit barbecue dinner presented by the
American Legion, and entertainment in town all day on the holiday. Read

Day Celebration – Silver City, NM:
Parades, fireworks
and an old-time Ice Cream Social are highlights during Silver City's
Annual Independence Day festivities held on Friday, July 4 &
Saturday, July 5. Enjoy traditional parades, live music, games, arts
& crafts, food, a tug of war, and fireworks. Silver City's July 4
Parade features riders and groups celebrating Grant County's Western
heritage with many participants mounted on horseback, adding to the
Old West appeal of downtown Silver City. Read more about
